Alma Glickman is committed to finding a cure for type 1 diabetes (T1D). After her great-granddaughter was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes (T1D) at age 19, Alma promised to do everything she could to give her great-granddaughter a full, healthy life that is one day free of diabetes.

"Research supported by JDRF has made it easier for my great-granddaughter to manage her blood sugar and stay healthy. But we can't slow down yet. I believe one of the most effective ways we can stop T1D is by including gifts in our estate plans that will spur critical research to support life-changing therapies and eventually lead to a cure," says Alma.
